Lid does not screw on properly.

I just got this in the mail today and the lid does not screw on tight When I went to Screw it on It just pops off after the first screw almost like the threads aren't aligned or something but all the threads look good Has anybody else I was wondering if anyone else who has bought in this product knows If I got a faulty product
